Voltron the Third Dimension

V3D was the first animated TV series of its kind! As with all reboot/remade versions of Voltron, it had its pluses as well as its minuses - not that it wasn't enjoyable, but it's hard to beat the original Lion Voltron. (At least in my opinion. ;) ) There were some really great episodes like "Consider the Alternatives" where we got to see a "surfer" version of Keith and a "no-nonsense" version of Lance, among other great twists and variations on the characters. One of the ideas introduced in V3D was inter-dimensional travel - when the team went through these "rifts" they would enter dimensions where they would sometimes meet other versions of themselves - and of the baddies too! - this is how Stealth Voltron came about (inside a dimensional rift). I've seen all of V3D (when it originally aired on TV), and I had purchased all the available episodes via WEP's Voltron store back in the day - unfortunately this was before DVD and the VHS tapes really haven't held up so well. :( I do still have a few tapes that can be watched, but for the most part, they've fallen apart.
